Just because he got a concussion doesn't mean it was an illegal hit. It's too bad that he was injured on the play. But the Avs fans are probably going to defend their player over some unknown Preds player. It goes along with being a fan.

That's excellent to hear about Elliott, hopefully he can light the A on fire, refund his confidence and force the Managements hand for a call up. Downie was legal, everyone outside of Nashville has admitted this. End of story, no need to comment further. Good to have Gabe back for the road trip

Preds talk? We have bigger fish to fry and they wear a big blue leaf on their chest. Tuesday night is a big early season test. I'd be surprised if this isn't a very good hockey game. Roy will give them an earful about what it means to play in Toronto under the leagues biggest spotlight.

What have you guys thought of Tanguay and Sarich so far? I've really like Jones, he works harder than Tangs ever did and Obriens been a plug for the most part.

Tanguay has been a beast for us so far, and we always liked that about Jones, when he played and was interested in the game he was effective, but too often he would fall asleep for games at a time, way too inconsistent. Hopefully the trade wakes him up.

O'Brien is a plug and Sarich has been ok, he is just doing an ok job being the 6th Dman.
